Tasks
Capture a piece of work in seconds and keep it tied to the right account.
Most of your queue is generated for you and lives in Action Hub: reminders, workflow steps, and best-practice recommendations. Use quick-create for the work you think of yourself, so you can capture a task without leaving what you are doing.
Quick-create
Press T anywhere in the app, or click the + in the side navigation, and a lightweight modal opens. Type the task and submit with Enter.
The modal keeps the essentials one click away:
- Title: what needs doing. Dates you type in the title, like "follow up Friday", are detected and set the due date for you.
- Company: the account the task belongs to. This is required, so if you submit without one, the company picker pops up to finish the job.
- Assignee: defaults to you, and you can reassign to any teammate.
- Add to my day: choose the day you plan to work on the task. After choosing a day, the control is labeled Plan.
- Due date: the deadline the task needs to meet.
- Description: optional context for the person doing the work.
The planned day and deadline are independent. For example, plan to prepare Pfizer's renewal evidence pack on Tuesday while keeping Thursday as the deadline to send it to Finance. Moving the work to Wednesday changes your agenda, not the customer commitment.
Create more
Flip on Create more to keep the modal open after each task, with the company and assignee preserved, so you can capture a batch of items in one sitting. Leave it off and the modal closes as soon as the task is created.
One task, every view
A task appears in your Action Hub queue and on its account. With Customer memory, open the account's Customer Intelligence tab to find your Today, Upcoming, Overdue, and Backlog work. Work assigned to teammates appears under Also on this account, not yours to do. The earlier account layout has a separate Tasks tab.
Use Home → My day to work through the items planned for your day. These views share the same task: completing it in one place updates the others.
Completion and Customer memory
Complete or dismiss a manually created task after reviewing its outcome. Customer memory can surface evidence that the work is done, but does not automatically close ordinary manual tasks. With Customer memory enabled, email reminders can close automatically when their tracked commitments are resolved by source evidence. Tasks managed by the newer Guidance planner can also close this way where that planner is enabled. See Action Hub for reminder cleanup.
